I let Bath Haus by P.J. Vernon sit on my shelf for months before I finally picked it up.
That was a mistake.
There’s always that one book in the TBR pile that gets passed over again and again, not because it looks uninteresting but because something newer keeps jumping the queue. Bath Haus was that book for me, and once I actually started it, I couldn’t work out why I’d waited so long.

It’s the sort of thriller you devour in a weekend, then immediately want to discuss with someone else who’s read it, if only to ask whether they saw the ending coming either.
